Shortly after Airtel has offered free data to postpaid users, Vodafone is following suit and is offering 8GB or 3GB of free data to postpaid users. The news coming off a trusted source at TelecomTalk confirms that Vodafone will be offering free data to all the postpaid users, based on their Vodafone Red program subscription.
Vodafone will be issuing 8GB or 3GB data to users on their preference. This is likely to be based on the usage criteria. High ARPU users might get 8GB of data while low ARPU users will get 3GB of data.
The free data will be offered every month for 3 months from the date of subscription. The offer is available already on the MyVodafone Android app. Open the app and click on the Activate button on the popup box to enable that.
If you are chosen for the 8GB plan, and happen to be Vodafone Red postpaid user, you can redeem it on any smartphone.
If you are chosen for the 8GB plan, and do not have Vodafone Red postpaid subscriptionm you can redeem it only on 4G smartphones.
If you chosen for the 3GB plan, and happen to be Vodafone Red postpaid user, you can redeem it on any smartphone.
If you are chosen for the 3GB plan, and do not have Vodafone Red postpaid subscription, you can redeem it only on 4G smartphones. You should have been billed with Vodafone for at least 12 months in this case though.
Vodafone Red Postpaid Family users are not eligible to claim this offer.
The offers are likely to be available for Vodafone users soon. Are you redeeming this deal on the MyVodafone app?
