Aims at bolstering ford over Jio’s growth
It is interesting to note that this launch comes into effect with Jio’s recent growth. It was just some days back when Jio touched 50 million users target and announced the launch of Jio Happy New Year Offer – free data and calls until March 31.
Back in September, Jio launched the official tariff plans and announced that calls on Jio are free forever. This is possibly why Airtel launched this new schemes. It would be interesting to note that even the plans are similar to that of Jio’s.
