Touted as India’s All in one app, Tapzo curates offers and allows users access to over 35 apps in a single platform. Launched as Akosha, an app to help users solve customer service problems, it was rechristened as Helpchat later.

Recently, the app did away with their chat support team and named itself to Tapzo. With over 100 crores funding from Sequoia India & Ru-Net in 2015 and with over 70 crores funding from AmEx Ventures in 2016, the app has been fast growing into a one-stop destination.

In a recent announcement, the company announced the launch of flight ticket bookings in association with Ixigo flights. Until now, Tapzo allowed users to book hotels, buses and trains on their app, but did not have support for flight ticket bookings. This is set to change with this new launch now.

It is important to note that Ixigo is itself a travel app that aims at solving customer’s travel woes. This Tapzo integration might likely change Ixigo’s native app transactions volume.

Similar to Ixigo’s native offering of Rs 600 cashback for all flight ticket bookings on their native app, Ixigo is offering Rs 600 cashback on the Tapzo integration too. Users can get a flat Rs 600 cashback on domestic flight ticket bookings on the Tapzo flight ticket booking section now.

The cashback offer is valid for 3 transactions per user. Domestic flight bookings have a cashback offer too on the Ixigo native flight app. This does not seem to be available on the Tapzo integration yet.

The cashback will be processed to user’s Citrus wallet. It is important to notice that the cashback will be linked to the same mobile number as the one used for flight ticket booking.
